BETA CHAPTER HISTORY
About Us
About Us
For the past 25 years, alpha Kappa Delta Phi has played a significant role in promoting Asian American culture on the UC Davis campus. alpha Kappa Delta Phi, Beta Chapter, was established at the University of California, Davis in the Spring of 1990. At the time, it was the only sorority on campus that was dedicated towards Asian American awareness for women. The sorority has grown over the past twenty years and alpha Kappa Delta Phi has been able to influence each of its sisters through the goals of leadership, sisterhood, and encouraging the expression of the individual.
alpha Kappa Delta Phi has contributed much of its time to the community over the years, participating in community service events such as Relay for Life, Asian Pacific Culture Week, and a Night of laughter. Breast cancer awareness is alpha Kappa Delta Phi's national philanthropy. alpha Kappa Delta Phi, Beta Chapter, performs several service projects each year towards promoting breast cancer awareness, most notably volunteering at Race For the Cure.
